As someone who watches house M.D (this is like my 5th time) When he said "thats a bit cold" my first reaction was so snort at the fact that that isnt the coldest he has been
At 5:39 you say that at times you must "pre-medicate" your patients—but medicate them before what ? I don't think the "pre" is necessary at all—you just medicate them.
Side note this was dated back almost 20 years ago so how things are done then is significantly different and low key you look like Patrick Dempsey aka dr shepherd
Hah! I love that the first clip is showing something I actually "suffer" from – Epilepsy with tonic-clonic seizures. After my first/initial set of seizures I can hardly remember anything from 48 hours "and suddenly woke up in a hospital bed" 😅 Been on meds for 4½ years now, with no seizures 💪 Also a nice touch with not being able to identify it, at first, which obviously is a little tricky, but then being able to spot 'whats up' afterwards 😁 And yeah, I also had the contrast MRI scan done.. After I had a 'regular' one. Could've added how "they're done" – You get a tube stuck up your groin area, aaaaall the way up to the brain, where they finally spray contrast fluids in 😄
The opioid crisis didn’t start because people in pain took them. The crisis started when losers with no lives started abusing them because there lives have no meaning. But great idea doctor blame doctors.
They pull out out a scalpel in an MRI sanner? Or they have compatible scalpels? Also neurocysticcercosis is a fairly routine diagnosis in India. They could not find a NCC on MRI that is causing life threatening seizure is impossible. Also presence of calcification in thigh does not prove NCC
Well, I'm not a doctor, so I can't be as critical as you on the procedures. I probably wouldn't enjoy this show as much if I was a doctor, since the mistakes they make I would notice most of them.
Interesting case similar to the one on "House" however the MRI was able to pick up the larvae in the brain. What's interesting is that I just watched this video like 2 days ago then a similar case makes national news.. Weird
I had a minor anaphylactic reaction to Gadolinium, thankfully I was already on antihistamines bd and only needed an additional antihistamine and monitoring. Only missed the first 5 mins of LOTR3 at the cinema! Calling it a win. Lol
13:01: "probably been there 6 to 10 years". Dr. Mike: How does he know that? Me: Isn't part of giving a diagnosis reassuring the patient?- Dr. Mike, et all whenever
Mike, I love how you're saying 'stop having sex' while being YOU and sitting there in this shirt with this stupid tie and looking like you do. You have too much faith in peoples ability to resist you. Kind Regards – your new subscriber(s).
This episode of House is so wrong… if she had cysticercosis in her brain she wouldn’t have eaten the ham. She would have eaten unwashed salad or maybe water with “eggs” inside to get that. 🙈
just for interest, House is 'Sherlock Holmes' and the Doctor who is a cancer specialist is 'Doctor Watson', just set in a hospital with germs and diseases replacing villain's and thieves. Hence treating everyone like they're idiots but coming to a clever deduction. "You know my methods Watson"
The reason House works 9-5 and isn't so passionate about staying long hours is because he's on probation and is required to work at least 40 hours a week and treat a certain amount of clinic patients as per his probation agreement (as you hear Cuddy explain.) So he works as little as possible avoiding the clinic as much as possible and only takes special cases.
@Doctor Mike What do you think is the Most accurate Medical Drama/fictional show? (Eg, ones like this But which one do you think is the most accurate?)
I am so sorry this is not directly related to your intelligence, and smart, professional and funny comments on watching the show but… I really LOVE the combo of shirt and tie you chose 😀 Looks great on you, elegant, fun and super good looking. Good taste! Plus it matches your eyes. I know it's random but maybe you needed to read this today! 😛 Have a great day!
This show actually did help us get a proper diagnosis for my mom. Hemochromatosis. We had never heard of it (most folks haven't, of course) but during the course of an episode we recognized the patient's symptoms (some of which overlapped with the symptoms of some of mom's other issues) and decided she should ask her doctor. Sure enough. Treatment didn't "fix" her because that was only one of several problems but it DID improve things considerably and allow clearer understanding of some of the other things.
Sometimes doctors would do well to think zebras because those exist….. just thinking it is too rare to be you hurts patient's chances of a correct diagnosis and recovery at times. Cyclical cushing's patient here.
That was ace, especially when it made you laugh! But as a person with Fibromyalgia I can guarantee I would have been back complaining that the ‘treatment’ didn’t work! I had to fight to be diagnosed and even designed my own pain map sheets to describe my symptoms as they fluctuate so much. My GP was so impressed how helpful the sheets were he asked to use them with future patients. While it was internet information that guided me to a fibro diagnosis this was after my GP had mentioned it as a possibility and after many, MANY other things were ruled out. I was eventually diagnosed by a rheumatology specialist and in all it took 2 years to get diagnosed. It’s portrayals of people like that claiming invisible illnesses makes acceptance for the the real sufferers very hard. I’m sure patients do lie quite often but sometimes doctors don’t listen… neither are helpful. I’m subscribing, that was great 😊 and yeah way too much sex in medical dramas! Loved your comment!
Are doctors not allowed to take pain meds on the job??? house has an obvious injury xD i know he takes to many pain meds but i didnt know doctors couldnt take pain meds even if they need them
Two things to keep in mind when watching House MD: 1) It's just Sherlock Holmes in a medical setting 2) They are research team, who solve rare and non typical cases
Alas, those are the things you don't get from watching the pilot.
6:37–7:00 1 year, 2 months, and 16 days later, Dr. Mike saves the life of Matt Faraco, who showed similar anaphylactic symptoms, in a flight to Israel through epinephrin release to the thigh. It is incredible how physicians are learning/ conversing about conditions they will treat any day soon.
As someone who watches house M.D (this is like my 5th time) When he said "thats a bit cold" my first reaction was so snort at the fact that that isnt the coldest he has been
wait hold im im caring its… yeah no dnt care bad utube this guy is a moron
At 5:39 you say that at times you must "pre-medicate" your patients—but medicate them before what ? I don't think the "pre" is necessary at all—you just medicate them.
What about 3 doctors spending their time performing the MRI? That really stood out to me 😉
it's Vicodin he's popping.
'hope those are advil'
oh boy
Youtube randomly showed your vid. Liked, subscribed. Love it 😉
doctor mike:that was cold. me watching house: ;-; it kinda is but it good >:Y
Do a show on the fact that female doctors have better patient outcomes than male doctors.
I absolutely love house, best series going!
Side note this was dated back almost 20 years ago so how things are done then is significantly different and low key you look like Patrick Dempsey aka dr shepherd
10:57 lol ph come on, many doctors are major drug addicts.
It's ruined for you because you are a Dr. , after I studied martial arts, they were martial art movies were ruined for me. 😢
But for scolex to manifest it has to be via pig feces and not the meat itself Doctor mike
"Ok, he's popping pills on the job… Oh! They're in New Jersey!"
Telling the truth is much easier than lying. You don’t have to cover the truth.
Love you doc mike! 😍 Haha
Nice vid! 👍👍👍
Love House series! 😊❤️
Te amo ❤️
Physicians have similar attitudes as organic chemists
House is my favorite series. Love House as entertainment but not as an actual doctor. (Its never Lupus lol) Thanks for the laughs.
I always wonder about professionalism and confidentiality when doctors seek fame, as doctors, not themselves… ethics much Medicine?
She is possessed.
Nice evaluation practical analysis LOVED THE show HOUSE and DR HOUEe was gorgeous .
How do you work the crazy hours of a doctor and still have time to do all this?!
I've had an MRI once, wasn't that bad
Hah! I love that the first clip is showing something I actually "suffer" from – Epilepsy with tonic-clonic seizures.

just stumbled on this. thumbs up. i love house
As someone with actual fibromyalgia, I felt really offended by the guy saying he might have it because he's had problems sleeping and concentrating XD
He’s cute
I freaked out in that machine. And I couldn't that the benzos. The nurse gave me head phone and blasted Korn though. It helped
being a doctor,I agree with you
Nice review 👍
I think you should watch night shift.
You do realize this is a t v show right.??? Hes very sarcastic but he says thing's everyone wants to say but don't have the guts to
9:34 time to call a priest
The opioid crisis didn’t start because people in pain took them. The crisis started when losers with no lives started abusing them because there lives have no meaning. But great idea doctor blame doctors.
are seizures actually that violent
this guy smart af 😂

9:27 Thought I was watching a horror movie for a second
I studied parasitology and I can say the part of the tapeworm is just a coincidence. Parasites are way more complicated than that.
Someone should tell this doctor that House is a fictional TV show.
I watched a behind the scenes on this show once and they told what they used for the pills in the show…they're Sweet Tarts.
Interesting case similar to the one on "House" however the MRI was able to pick up the larvae in the brain. What's interesting is that I just watched this video like 2 days ago then a similar case makes national news.. Weird
forget the link https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/27/asia/china-hot-pot-tapeworms-intl-hnk-scli/index.html
You accepting new patients? I need a good doc here in jersey lol. Wish I could find a good caring doc like you here in south jersey!
heeeeee is so hotttttt
SO if I pass out in an MRI, the doctor slits my throat??
I had a minor anaphylactic reaction to Gadolinium, thankfully I was already on antihistamines bd and only needed an additional antihistamine and monitoring. Only missed the first 5 mins of LOTR3 at the cinema! Calling it a win. Lol
13:01: "probably been there 6 to 10 years". Dr. Mike: How does he know that? Me: Isn't part of giving a diagnosis reassuring the patient?- Dr. Mike, et all whenever
Reminding myself to add comments latter
Pls can you do a review on Monday morning
wait, did he say he works in jersey
Dr.Mike sucks

The patient with fibromyalgia. lol
You don't explained that disease.
It was an excellent reaction btw
I've had 3 MRIs, fallen asleep every time.
Lupos?
Iam sure if he would have been part of the production crew this series would have been so much more realistic and interesting for medical staff.
Without him we have a very cool series.
The reason House works 9-5 and isn't so passionate about staying long hours is because he's on probation and is required to work at least 40 hours a week and treat a certain amount of clinic patients as per his probation agreement (as you hear Cuddy explain.) Legend portuguese please !
can u review the night shift olzz
@Doctor Mike What do you think is the Most accurate Medical Drama/fictional show? (Eg, ones like this But which one do you think is the most accurate?)
You should review the good doctor!
I am so sorry this is not directly related to your intelligence, and smart, professional and funny comments on watching the show but… I really LOVE the combo of shirt and tie you chose 😀 Looks great on you, elegant, fun and super good looking. Is he the most good looking doctor ever? 😂
You look like talfishman the doctore version.😂
You work in New Jersey?! Nice!
What are your thoughts on all of those doctor hook ups on TV? 🤣
Why am I getting ads for lingerie?
Me: Give him some medication.
Dr Mike: Give him some jebfudbruejdvfisndbhdjsjehrgduvehrtshe
4:40 HA! House doesn’t care. About anything.
i dislike cuz you argue about bullshit, this is a show ofc they not 100% accurate.
Sometimes doctors would do well to think zebras because those exist….. just thinking it is too rare to be you hurts patient's chances of a correct diagnosis and recovery at times. Cyclical cushing's patient here.
My favorite episode gotta be "one day one room", follow by "Damned If You Do".
That was ace, especially when it made you laugh!

When I was five I saw a episode of house were a guys throat closed and he couldn't breathe I'm still traumatized
I had a biopsy at a young age and I never knew what it actually was until now
Are doctors not allowed to take pain meds on the job??? house has an obvious injury xD i know he takes to many pain meds but i didnt know doctors couldnt take pain meds even if they need them
Can you react to the House episode Airborne Hysteria??
It's minimal drama and mostly just medicine…
I feel like you would like that episode…
"One day, one room" is my favorite episode of the show
We have the same nose
“Dont give the kids the worms…. just kidding” lol
Remember when this literally happened to Doctor Mike when Matt ate red meat, and dr. Mike had to save him.
Two things to keep in mind when watching House MD:

How he knows all these things so attractive . His knowledge ♥️♥️
Haven't watched yet, what are we doing biopsy on today?
"Hope those are advil." That made me laugh…far from advil my man
You should do a series of videos for each episode, this is great!
Boy I… … who cares about House here 😅
You are literally the most gorgeous doc, personally speaking
Doctor Mike hush boo but doc house is always right lol go watch his movie hahaha
